These are the tallest of the vertical pianos. Today this term is usually used to refer to the older, very tall pianos - Your Grandma's piano. A word of caution, there were, literally, hundreds of thousands of upright pianos made between the 1880's and 1940 in America. These old uprights are expensive to restore and this work should not be attempted by anyone other than a qualified piano technician. If properly preserved these old pianos are some of the most aesthetically beautiful and durable instruments ever made. The key is "properly preserved". If not properly maintained an old upright's only value is as a big piece of heavy furniture, beautiful to look at but not very pleasing to listen to.

This instrument has been thoroughly inspected by our service department and maintained to ensure it is sold in optimal playing condition. It includes a 90-day full-service warranty with purchase and will be tuned before delivery. Additional service plans are available at the time of purchase.
