Ritmuller has been known as one of the most admired and leading-edge names in European piano making since its start in 1795. Many famous composers of the 19th century, such as Johannes Brahms, played on a Ritmuller. Since 2009, Pearl River has owned the Ritmuller name and continues to manufacture pianos with the traditional European technique combined with CNC technologies.
