The Evolved SK-EX Rendering Sound Source-
The SK-EX full concert grand piano is officially selected for international piano competitions around the world, including the International Chopin Piano Competition. The SK-EX rendering sound source included in the NOVUS NV12/NV6 is an innovative sound source system in which the entire system operates solely for this one sound. Multi-channel, multi-layered sampling technology and modeling technology that faithfully reproduces the resonance and sound of all 88 keys deliver a wide dynamic range, from piercingly powerful strikes to whisperingly soft strikes, creating a sound that makes you feel as if you're playing in a concert hall.
Grand Piano Feel-
The Kawai grand piano's key action, made with carbon fiber-reinforced ABS resin for key components, is both highly rigid and lightweight. It offers a light touch, excellent control over rapid and soft keystrokes, a wide dynamic range, and excellent durability with little performance degradation even after extended use. What's more, it's equipped with high-resolution sensors that can detect the player's touch at a more delicate level, reproducing the rich expressive power of a grand piano.

Concert Magic is a feature that lets you play with just one finger. By tapping out the tempo on the keyboard, anyone can easily experience the feeling of being a pianist. It comes with a wide variety of songs, including anime, Japanese songs, and folk songs from around the world. It also now supports lesson songs, making it useful for practicing tempo and dynamics.

The AKM-1100 comes with a wide variety of practice songs to help you improve your piano skills. You can play the right and left hand parts separately, or repeat just a section of a song, allowing for a variety of practice styles. The AKM-1100 features a collection of popular piano practice songs, allowing you to practice piano at a level that suits you.

The 5-inch color touchscreen allows for easy operation, much like using a smartphone. Piano mode allows you to concentrate on playing the piano, allowing you to freely select and easily adjust the SK-EX, EX, SK-5, or upright piano tones. Additionally, the new "Recently Played Tones List," "Recommended Tones List," and "Favorite Tones List" allow you to easily select tones like in a playlist, making operation more user-friendly than ever before.
In addition, by using a dedicated app, you can operate your smartphone or tablet in the same way as the touch panel. For example, you can place your smartphone on the music stand and remotely operate the touch panel at the same eye level as the sheet music.
