The Kawai NOVUS NV12 is the newly released Grand Hybrid Digital Piano. A new flagship model that pursues the sound, feel, and resonance of a true grand piano. This piano offers the playability of a grand piano action, the expressive power of a speakerless soundboard speaker, and the convenience of a digital piano.

SOUNDBOARD TRANSDUCER SYSTEM

Kawai Pianos have elevated the capabilities of the Hybrid digital piano now offering an official speakerless soundboard in the Grand NV12 model. With five transducers placed through out it produces vibrations as the output. A full speakerless design based on the Kawai AURES for a natural, piano-like sound projection with a warm resonant acoustic character exclusive to the Kawai Novus NV12.

ELEVATED CABINET DESIGN

The new rounded back design gives the piano a more authentic grand-like appearance, while the redesigned topboard offers three adjustable positions: closed, semi-open, and fully open. It also features an adjustable music rest for enhanced playing comfort. It incorporates settings recommended by piano tuners, so you can easily adjust the piano sound to your liking even if you don't know the tuning details. New adjustment items have been added, such as hammer noise and release time, bringing the total number of piano sound adjustment items to 18. This makes it possible for performers to achieve the piano settings they envision more than ever before.
